I can never understand why Muslim women are asked “aren’t your hot in that“ but women with 5 inch heels and tight minis are not asked “aren’t you uncomfortable in that?”
I think what some people fail to notice how loose-fitting the clothing is. That actually keeps things cooler. Just like traditional Japanese wear is loose fitting to cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

I had a friend who all year wore those spike heels to work. People were frequently asking if they didn’t hurt her feet.
