In Oregon, paper bags are only a nickel. You can bring your own bags, but then you have to load them.

I always have a couple of canvas bags rolled up in my messenger bag. Oh, and I use them!

I put a big plastic bin in the back of my car, wheel the cart right out, put the stuff in the bin, and carry it all in the house at once!

Six cans of beans? The store I shop at currently has a limit of four… and a limit of two cans of soup.

I’ve been bringing my own bags for over 20 years. I’m not been allowed to do so during Covid, but I reduce as much as possible.

Sav-A-Lot is another. Like Aldi they also charge rent for shopping carts. Again there, under the excuse of the pandemic, discussion continues regarding a door charge, no joke and no discount on your final bill. The fun of spending money continues to bleed.
