Clayton; When we get out for the summer, I'm going to do some serious playing. Katy; No more half-hearted. Clayton; That's right. I'm going to live in the moment and seize the day. Katy; How could you not live in the moment? Do you have a time machine? Clayton; I can go back in time... Just enter dad's closet and suddenly it's 1981 again!

1981. I was in Grade 12. Ahh, the height of fashion! (We wouldn’t be caught dead in what kids wear to school today!!!)

Ah, Destiny23, you’re my little sister’s age. What fashion sense we had back then, eh? But aside from the baggy jeans hanging down (and they’re starting to go out slowly), my kids just wear jeans & t-shirts – not all that different from us, really.

Clayton sounds like a good Phineas & Ferb summer candidate.

Talk about skeletons in the closet! That closet should have a padlock on it.

cdward, I saw a kid just last week whose plaid boxers were completely visible. His belt came under his buttocks, as if to support them. I couldn’t help laughing.

I am not commenting on the strip as much as joining the memories- I used to wear bell bottom pants, grannie glasses, hiphuggers, go-go boots, and other scandalous fashions too awful to mention—now guess my age!

pibfan868 I don’t know. We used to wear bell bottoms, hip huggers, halters, sizzlers, go go boots, tube tops, hot pants, etc. I graduated high school in 1979. Am I close? I never heard of grannie glasses, though.

I was in elementary school then. Not quite sure I wanted to grow up…. I guess I didn’t, did I? ;-)
