I’m so glad that my parrot isn’t as intelligent OR as conversational as Pilsner.

Actually, many birds line their nest with feathers. Birds regularly lose some feathers. Birds do not need to be killed to collect some feathers from them.

Once received a feather pillow from Europe as a gift. I believe the brand name was “Revenge of the Ducks” in the Moldovian tongue.

According to Wikipedia, “PrimaLoft® is a brand of patented synthetic microfiber thermal insulation material”, so I don’t think Moon Dog needed to worry.

I’d need to see how goose down is collected before I pass judgement on this, though this falls into the “pigeon eating chicken cannibalism” fallacy. A goose is as much like a parrot as a cow is to us, I know some people don’t use leather goods for that reason but it’s hardly considered a regular opinion.

Think of it as a tribute to your kind, Pilsner! After all, you guys do shed them pretty freely….
