Back in the days before every TV was remote controlled.

My dad would doze off in front of some show with blaring sirens, at full volume. If you dared turn it down a bit, he would rouse and say, “I’m not asleep! I’m watching that!” Yeah, with your eyes closed while breathing deeply. Took me years to figure out he was just blocking out the household.

The days when couch potatoes got their exercise by having to get up and walk a few feet an change the channel, then walk back.

There were no truly terrible shows in 1973. At least not until Cousin Oliver showed up.

A back in the day’s of b&w telly with 3 channels….

It is gonna be election, election, election, I turned it off

Snoopy, The World’-Famous TV Remote!

I was my family’s remote.

The reason for inventing the remote control – someone had a doggie on their lap:-)

Changing the channel won’t do any good. They have the same election results on all of them.

I’m power-windows-and-TV-remotes-were-luxury-items old

I’ve spent many very enjoyable hours watching TV while asleep.

Imagine in the near future to be able to switch channels with just a thought…..

What scares me is that some people vote that way.

My TV lacks knobs.

They need to invent remotes.

Snoopy’s TV must be in the shop.

Well people can get into their cars and drive while sleepwalking. So….

My Dad a remote for all of out TVs, until I left home.

I have to learn that trick.

Snoopy’s paws are better remotes than infra red remote. Wifi ones are better off.
