If the flag can bring smiles on our faces, than History will….

Mississippi’s new flag is humorous, in a way. It makes it look like God is a magnolia.

I hope her new nation will be an “open” democracy where it will legal to laugh at the flag.

Rules of Vexillography (at least by the North American Vexillographical Association):1. Keep it simple2. Use meaningful symbolism3. Use 2-3 basic colors4. No lettering or seals5. Be distinctive or be relatedI best Agnes could do it.

Ohio named from the Indian word Ohyo. Many state flags are based upon state militia military flags. A humorous one would be a stand out. We have plenty of over sized under populated states to carve up some new states out of. Also maybe a funny state name too, Agnes. Go for the gusto. Trickjacktonia? Skippyland? Agnestonia? Agnestroutonialand? Cumquat? Lovelessland? (That one is already taken since 1869)

It is harder to fault a good joke…bad jokes, on the other hand…
