Chop down all your trees. Then you’ll only have to “harvest” those from your neighbors when they blow onto your grounds.

At the campground where we keep our trailer, we have two people who use a leaf blower several hours each and every day. ELECTRIC blowers that have a high pitched sound. I want to break them.

I understand that some people don’t have the strength to rake but honestly people, leaf blowers sound terrible.

It’s pretty quiet in my community, except for %!@*ing leaf blowers.

There are some communities that limit the use of leaf blowers, usually by allowing them only during specific hours. That doesn’t help the night shift workers who (try to) sleep during the day.

I wouldn’t mind them flying south, but they’ve taken up permanent residence around here… in the thousands. (try not to imagine the mess)

I mow the leaves in my yard and have since the 70s. No raking, no leaf blowing…just mulch.

We used to have someone deal with our mowing, leaves, and snow removal – but the last one we one winter went back home – without telling us and we were stuck with the largest snow falls over and over in decades (for awhile 2 feet every other day) and since then we had dealt with more or less it all by ourselves (this year while remaining in the house we did not think of mowing until it was too far gone for us to anything – and did not kill the starting poison ivy this year so it has found it way from back to front yards).

Normally in late November husband will go into a panic as we cannot, per him, put Xmas lights on the bushes if there are leaves under and around them or there will be a fire. We have tried a variety of methods of getting rid of them including using a leaf blower backwards to vacuum them up – but the leaf blower is terribly heavy and I find it exhausting to use. I came up with the idea of using a snow shovel and I have done for that for the past few years. Last year I broke the “good” snow shovel and he managed to fix it. This year he decided we needed to pick up the leaves last week – due to stay at home, he lies in bed and hears the gardener on each side blow leaves onto property and goes nuts. I broke the shovel again and he does not want to use it, even after he fixes it (has to be bought at one place out of state). He found a device on TV – corregated plastic – that one pushes the leaves onto and it folds up into a square funnel. We did the leaves again yesterday using it – I found it exhausting – but it made him happy.

Today – the gardener on the other side blew the leaves from there back to where we had cleared them….
