Frazz had a vulnerable moment in Panel 2, and Caulfield stepped over the line in Panel 3. I think Frazz is not being metaphysical—just feeling his stripped down naked self. Good when that happens sometimes: a moment without illusions.
“Your soul.” That’s one of the most pretentious things Calvin-Head has ever said! He should get his own vlog! Imagine how many nerdy virginal guys would worship him for his nonsensical slogans!

It is definitely a different vibe when you’re open water swimming rather than in a pool. You can’t touch bottom and land is off in the distance.
