We did something similar in school with a quartet of Monopoly boards.
Four different types meant the properties were all unique. The 4 “GO” squares were put together. Passing GO put you on the next board. Landing on GO got you double and let you decide which board to go on.
Everybody had 2 tokens.
Each roll used 5 dice. (2 black, 2 white, one red) You could decide which token to use them on, but you had to use both of the black or white ones on the same token. Doubles on the black or white got you an extra turn with them. Red could be used in reverse.
No houses or hotels used. Monopoly meant triple rent.
Going to jail meant BOTH of your tokens went. Exiting cost half your cash if you couldn’t get three dice to match within three rolls.
Taxes and fines from Chance and Community Chest went on their respective board’s Free Parking.
Next up: Monopoly “That-a-baby” Edition. Right now, there are versions at the Walgreens here for our city and our state. And don’t even get me started on how many versions of RISK I once owned!
I always loved playing board games and card games since I was little. Now I am living on my own for the first time in my life and I miss not having anyone to play board games and cards with.

You know you’ve been cooped up too long when you combine all the board games in the house.

Can’t play any board games with our 4-year-old grandson, he takes the pieces and goes off to play something else with them.
