This reminds me of a show that was popular in Florida from the early ‘70s into the ’90s. It was called “Creature feature” on WTOG out of St Pete. The host was Doctor Paul Bearer and he would show old B sci fi or horror movies from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Often he would have bumper sections between the movie and commercials where he would be be having a bowl of Scary-o’s (a doctored box of Cheerios), drink a can of Moor’s beer, eats some Mild Deads (Milk Duds) or have a visit from his “Mummy”. He catch phrase every week was “I’ll be lurking for you”. It was a Saturday staple on TV 44 until Dick Bennick (Dr Paul) died in 1995. It was brought back in 2015 as Tombstone Tales by Dr Paul Bearer II band while it is good, not quite as good as the original.
In one episode of the short series The Jim Henson Hour, there was an oversized monster eating “Screaming No-Nos,” which were human sized cereals at that scale. He asked, “Why are they called Screaming No-nos?” and the voices in the bowl kept crying “No! No!” For some reason, this episode was not shown on Nickelodeon when they started showing Muppet material.

I laughed out loud. Despair dusted lost souls. Brilliant. So right for right now.

Death is a Psychopomp, not a soul eater.
