I don’t hang out with any of my coworkers from before I was retired. I used to socialize with them all the time, but they all moved away to cheaper places to live as soon as they could. Then I realized I didn’t actually like them very much.
Sadly there have been a lot of people I worked with over the years I liked a great deal, but when jobs change, it’s harder to stay in touch, everyone gets busy, and eventually we drift apart.
