    Be careful. Some dogs you do that and they stop eating for a few days. I claim they are on “Hunger Strike” for steak every night. But, as owners we must remain strong and feed them only their normal dog food.

    I’ve put a little meat additive on my Dogs food for years. The downside is now they just eat the topping and ignore the dog food.

    When we did whole turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas, instead of just thighs (we both prefer dark meat), we’d stew the giblets for our dogs and give them just a little on their kibble the next few nights. Somehow they never seemed to suffer from withdrawal.
