Where did Rita buy high heel sneakers?

Just thinking about those things makes me want to barf. And don’t get me started on candy corn.

Dangit! Now I gotta stop by Walgreen’s on the way home and grab a bag (or 2). (Thanks, Pedmar. Now I gotta buy candy corn, too!)

I used to manage a chocolate shop…. I love really good dark chocolate… nice desserts… real ganache.

Don’t care for hard candy, fruit flavored sweets, or most candy bars.

Can’t even eat the cheap chocolate in most molded Santas, bunnies, and the like.

Yet I LOVE those horrible orange-colored fake-banana flavored “marshmallow” “Circus Peanuts” ..

which are like no other sort of marshmallow.

Only when they’re fresh, though… not the stale bags hanging on the candy rack at the gas station.

I almost never buy them … probably haven’t had one in 5 years…. but they occupy a soft spot in my heart.

Go figure.

I never “got” Circus Peanuts either. A shade of orange not found in nature, made of marshmallow, shaped like a peanut, tastes like a banana … the inventor of these must’ve been drunk or stoned.

Rita is about to shove that bottle into Sal’s, uh, uh, trash can. Yeah, that’s it. She would never shove it anywhere else except into his trash can. Yeah.
