Cool is better than groovy!
He’s up to the 50’s with his lingo!!
I’ll see your “Groovy” and raise you a “Far Out”
Can you dig it man?
do you have an old Les Paul you can break out?
I was going to say ‘nifty’ but I’d date myself.
I still say groovy
This discussion is pretty far out!
Neat
Groovy is out, stick to Cool. I also doubt anything suggested by Adam would be Cool….
The first time I was in the 1970 musical Applause, the director decided to update it to 1979. We sang “super” instead of “groovy” at one point.
If he hesitates to let you have “groovy” throw “ginchy” at him and he’ll change his mind.
Let’s go back to cool.

I say groovy all the time, and only get positive reactions
Groovy – adj As teen slang for “wonderful,” it dates from c. 1941; popularized 1960s, out of currency by 1980.
I attended grad school 1993-1994 when I was in my early 40s. Fellow grad students, in their 20s, had a irritating habit of filling their sentences with "cool’. “Groovy” and “far out” always seemed to me to be more appropriate.
What? You can’t say “groovy” anymore? NOT. (see that one too)
Oh wow! Dude.
My son told me, once, that I really wasn’t one of those who could pull off saying, “cool.” So naturally, I started saying it more, just to annoy him.
