My Dad played basketball in high-school in the 1950’s. He always said that he never finished a game – fouled out of every one. he got “Bad Boy of the Conference” every year. I guess if you can’t be famous, be notorious. :)
The best way to remember is to keep a journal; that way you can look back and have memory stirred and cause you to smile in a recurred event made possible only because it as previously recorded.
Also, think of the legacy to children and grandchildren of your life story. What would you do to have a journal which was written by your grandfather or your great grandfather? Ditto for grandma and great grandma!
How does Linus know about his father’s team record? Although, as I look back on my most memorable soccer teams, I can remember one that did OK, but every game was fantastic just for the play itself.

Where we live, yesterday was bleak and rainy (or dark and stormy, in Snoopy’s words), and January 1st dawned sunny and glorious. Hello 2021! :)

Either that, or he lied.

Ahhh, the old days of watching the boys run around in tank tops and short shorts. Loved it.

Not a whole lot of Peanuts strips that involve basketball, especially compared to other sports.
