Remember to have your whatchamacallit to show and explain you-know-what about that thing.

Is ti accurate to use the word ZOOM for online meetings that last an hour or more?

An effective executive once said that meeting agendas should contain no more than 2-3 items and that discussion of each should last no longer than 20 min from intro to conclusion. If there were multiple items, minds tended to weary or wander and the outcome was less satisfactory. One could always schedule other meetings with smaller groups to handle specific items.

When I was a teacher, certain meeting announcements were cringe worthy, especially the one that read, and tomorrow our guest speaker will be Aloysius Blabberwort, noted author of “How The SOL’s Have Changed the Curriculum For The Better.” I know we will all enjoy . . .

What was normally a brief meeting went over 2 hours and somehow, we never quite reached the promised level of ‘enjoyment.’
