Yup, I heard that a lot after about every foot race I was ever in. That was back in the days before ‘also ran’ when we thought “if you didn’t win, you lost.” Everyone who didn’t win, were losers. Not useless or disgraced. Just the guys who didn’t win, TODAY. Maybe next time.
