Seems like people only ever try to rebel against one layer of “mainstreamness”, and just become exactly like all the other self-proclaimed rebels.

I wanted to be twins when I was little. Because I had so MANY things I wanted to do (read AND swim AND play with the trains AND dig a cave AND …) and figured maybe twins could get it done. Once I realized that even a twin wasn’t ME, I began wondering whether I could get hold of “sleep” pills: One pill worth about 8 hours of restful sleep. Alas, that didn’t work out either.

    Be a rebellious, non-conforming, individual!

    Just like everybody else.

LOL….Marigold’s expression in the last panel. Like, “Why did you have to steal my thunder like that, Phoebe?”

The only thing with that kind of fire power is a human.

The outer shell is composed of molecules straight from a solar furnace, the inner contains the energy of a million suns performing at nearly 100% no seepage efficiency.

PHE is too young to have harnessed more than friendship and curiosity. Should MAR attempted the transformation with only sparkle as the fixing point she may hit anything between Carol Channing and Golda Don’t be so humble – you are not that great Meyer

I don’t recommend it; she’d spend the day being beside herself.

It’s OK, Marigold. It’s a good thing when our friends know us so well. Keeps us honest!
