I recently heard a podcast where they interviewed a now-adult about the time she was a kid in the 80’s. Cabbage Patch kids were the newest thing, and she went to the store with her mom to buy it. She found one that looked just like herself (blond hair) and took it off the shelf. Just at that moment, a grown woman ran up to her and snatched the doll from her hands and ran off with it. Sadly, there was a crowd grabbing dolls from the shelves and there was none left so they had to go home with nothing.
What Gracie did was complete opposite of this and really lifted my spirits! Sometimes it does take a child to show adults how they should act.

The setup for that was excellent. Except we know that is not the way Gracie is so we were expecting a twist. And a wonderful twist it was.

I was able to help somebody yesterday: out walking on a park road, found a driver license. I took it home and mailed it to the guy right away.
