I have a Zoom meeting every Saturday evening with friends, and never once have we had to deal with a flowchart!

Flowcharts are lousy at designing job flow … “no battle plan survives contact with the enemy”. As a computer programmer for 40 years, I never used flowcharts to plan my programs, only to document them after they were written and successfully deployed, and then only because some higher-ups thought they were a “good thing to have”. I had better luck using simple outlines that were easy to understand and easy to reorganize as I encountered the “enemy”, i.e., the realities of making a computer do what I wanted it to.
