I just re-read Dickens’ A Christmas Carol for the first time in many, many years. "At least Santa didn’t call it a “workhouse”. In Victorian England that was something pretty grim.
It’s almost impossible to find anything on Amazon that wasn’t made in China, their workers are paid minimum wage with no benefits for most of them, Bezos is the richest man in the world – so rich that he can give $10Billion to so-called “green” campaigners. Any one of these is reason enough for me to avoid all things Amazon!
Look at all that beautiful snow. They have all the luck. Reminds me of arriving in Boston the day the National Guard opened it after their 1978 blizzard. They kept their AR’s aimed at us.
