I believe raisins are not good for dogs.

But this shows that Luann DID try to train Puddles, so maybe she isn’t the terrible person that B says she is…

Probably not as good of reinforcement as one would expect.

    That’s okay Pud.

    Don’t sweat it.

Luann is just “practice training” for her future boyfriend. ;)

Years ago I had a small dog that loved grapes. She lived to 14. I don’t think grapes killed her.

Um, grapes are poison for dogs… which means raisins are, too. Not a good idea, Luann!!

DO NOT GIVE RAISINS OR GRAPES TO YOUR DOG. You might as well be giving them chocolate at that point.

Raisins — very bad for dogs. Kidney damage/failure.

Cut up carrots make many dogs happy. Or doggy treats, just not the imported cheapie crap. Small pieces of meat, whatever veggies they like best. No peas, either.

This strip made me think of Snuffles, the cartoon dog who would go absolutely orgasmic over the dog biscuits he was given by Quickdraw McGraw (usually as prepayment for tracking down a criminal, or some other piece of law enforcement work).
