What if I have a bad knee? If I can’t run from God, does that mean I might get away?

NotNormanChubsyUbsy said, about 9 hours ago, axe, It seems you are obsessed with me and my opinion of the current GA story arc. Is your life really that empty?

Only on Thursdays, which I have off from work. But really, what is your opinion of the story? I can’t remember if you’ve ever really expressed it. I do notice you become most agitated when someone writes that they like the storyline, so yesterday must have been especially difficult for you. It must also annoy you that although you are the one attacked, the censors so often delete your comments!

Moving on to today’s strip— excellent comments so far, as clever as the strip itself!

@wndrwrthg good lord man you made me spray my coffee all over the key board. Uptons observation is a very real one though.

Quaby said, From Yesterday Day late and dollar short…but my 2 cents worth is I am enjoying this storyline. It’s a good story. Byrd was a good story. Walt reminiscing about WWI has the potential to be a good story line. Walt is not much longer for this world. Neither are a majority of the old favorites. We need some new blood, and bringing in these ‘non Gasoline Alley’ storylines tests the characters and how they will fit. Some will, some won’t, but what an amazing journey it will be! —- You’re absolutely right, there are some interesting new characters to be replacing some of the old. I just hope that Jim finds a way to occasionally bring back some of the old timers as well.

Actually God says he’s a he. The bible (written by God through men) is not ambiguous on this subject.

The power of the Gospel still transforms lives! Jim is wonderfully showing this. I’m of the belief he’s going to catch a lot of flack from certain groups because of this storyline.

    I love it!

I also greatly miss Uncle Walt and the rest of the GA gang and hope Jim brings us back home real soon.

In the Spirit of this story of reconcilation let’s agree to disagree regarding it and not fight or name call each other.

    Peace.

    BB

Let’s not forget the Bible bashing loonies. Looks like they’re out there too!

I thought a loonie was a Canadian Dollar.

Didn’t I see this story on Law & Order Criminal Intent? Time for Goren and Eames to arrive for summation and arrest!

As a child I didn’t like GA very well - too much about guys and their cars. There were a couple of guys besides the Wallets that worked at or hung around GA, don’t remember their names. I like the family oriented stories better.

crunkbot said, Dypak: We may have differing opinions about the quality of this storyline, but anyone who name-checks Harper Valley PTA is alright in my book.

And anyone who brings the incomparable Barbara Eden to mind is all right with me, too.

Perhaps Upton’s sermon (or bassmanbob’s wish for peace) has wrought this miracle! I too loved her as the manicurist, and I love the Andy Griffith Show in general– especially the black and white episodes!

Axe, I think it must have been Sydney Sheldon that brought about this miracle. Or was it Danny Thomas?

Nod, Andy Griffith jumped the shark after Don Knotts left.

Amen, though TAGS “after Barney” is still better than most other TV shows, it was a sad decline for one of the all-time best.
