Never knew Zeke was such a movie buff. And the music was Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in C Major, which since the 1967 movie has been known as Elvira Madigan.
Well, Mozart himself was before “news”, they adapted his music for this 1967 film. Unfortunately, there was news then, and a lot of it bad. Ironic film/TV music is pretty commonplace now, but using this sweet, balladic theme for this subject was some of the first.
