It rained like hell Monday and Tuesday, then we had two very nice days. Now it is raining lightly so I guess this and tomorrow will count as rainy. True, I could use a week in Palm Springs about this time of year. But Spring starts in March, and even now we have lots of blooms to cheer us up.
I lived in Seattle for 7 years without a car or a raincoat, and only got really soaked in the rain once. Most of the time it’s just drip, drip, drip. While there are a lot of gloomy, drippy days, the actual total annual rainfall is less than most midwestern cities.
Just reminding everyone this is the 50th Anniversary of Doonesbury! Question. Anyone here reading it from the beginning? While I did not, I know I started reading it just a few years after it started.

Keep the money, Mike. You’ll need it for Alex’s education.

Seattle? Safe? I’m not sure I even want to visit with the mess that was going on.

That’s a real dream job if the personal satisfaction is all the compensation you need.

So it was in 1995 that the Californians started moving in mass to the Seattle area?

Excellent schools, safe neighborhoods? We know they’re not talking about Seattle today!

Don’t you give your excess money to some worthy eco/humanitarian cause, at least in the dream?
