Some departments are sending unarmed experts in mental health along with an armed cop. As a result, arrests and violence are way down. The phrase “defund” may be the wrong word, but it points to a MUCH needed overhaul of how we think of and do policing in this country. Our policing has turned into something worthy of a banana republic.

“Meter maid” is an outdated term. They are now called parking enforcement officers.

Nah – get rid of them, too. Wouldn’t want to upset the protestors if they get a parking ticket.

When they’re good they’re very good, & when they’re bad they’re horrid. I support cops who treat bad cops like they’d treat any other criminal.

just eliminate criminals. a bullet only costs a few cents. of coarse i mean violent and serious crimes. save the shrinks for the rest of the criminals.the percentage of criminals killed by the cops is far far smaller than the pecentage of people that have been hurt , killed , or robbed , and they never talk much about how many cops get killed or attacked by criminals on a regular basis. next time you or a loved one needs help who are you going to cal, another crook?

Maybe we should defend politicians and deoxygenate all the cancel culture and associated clowns.And defend all security in and around their neighbourhoods.Probably work out better for all concerned
