come to think of it, when has Odie himself been heroic?

Timmy just fallen down the well, aren’t you going to rescue him, or are you just going to sit there ?

Surely, there’s got to be a better way.

Some wishes though…

Dog’s duty: Bark, lick, sit, relax. (Nothing heroic here).

I thought the cat had to push you down.

If there’s a show, “Ask a Human”, where pets can write in with their questions, one might be, “how come my human never does anything heroic?”

“What’s that Odie? Garfield has fallen down a well? Why are you laughing then?

Because the dog knows the difference between heroism and stupidity?

Are we the coin that grants wishes? And then Odie gets what he wants?

i can’t imagine jon would feel great confidence in either of his pets when it comes to their ability to save him from a well

My dog has been very heroic this past year. No complaints when every member of the family walked him several times a day. No complaints about lack of sleep as bored kids played with him. No complaints about all the treats he has been given. But, most of all, no complaints about all the love he gave us.
