Another Arc come’s to a close.

After the class ended, Nate picks up his books and is about to leave when he sees something strange. He sees Sheila, Jentn, and Gina in a group looking shady. They go in the Janitor’s closet,and Nate goes through his locker with a secret passage to the the closet. He looks through the peephole, and sees them rip off masks. He feels like he is dreaming. “T-T-They’re aliens?” Nate questions to himself looking at the green head.

Nobody in this strip is seen without glasses

So does bespeckled mean Nate would have freckles? (Befreckled?)

This sort of confusion happened sometime in the early days of Big Nate.

This is probably the end of the latest arc, so: reminds me of some song lyrics: “Cantaloupe eyes, come to me tonight, Judy in disguise: WITH GLASSES!!”…..John Fred and His Playboy Band, 1967………

Hmm since tomorrow is a sunday, that means this is probably the end of this arc. What do you think would be a cool arc next?

We can conclude Mr. Galvin is not smart from this as he doesn’t notice the obvious, which disproves Nate’s experiment!

Gina really shouldn’t call Nate Einstien sarcastically, because Nate’s probably going to think she actually means it.

Mr. Galvin is a dead ringer sketch of my high school Algebra teacher, Mr. Adams back in the 70’s. Red nose and all. He was allergic to chalk dust.

What makes this strip so funny is that Nate is just a regular guy who lives within his own silly little view of Reality. The crazy part is he’s far from alone in that regard.
