Uh Earl you need to rethink that decision. Don’t waste the trip, might as well have them change the oil and do a lube job on your car.

Maybe Opal was right that he needs to have his head examined.

Let’s hope he didn’t drive to this appointment, if he can’t even tell the diff between a doctor’s office and an oil change shop…

Wouldn’t be nice if Dr. Marchant came to the Pickles house for the examination? The doctor may not have that big device with which to examine your eyes, but he can improvise one way or another, right?

Time to take away his car keys?

My father, years ago being used to home cooked meals and restaurants while on the road, fast food was new to him. My mother sent him to Burger King for Burger Buddies which they had then, se he went to KFC by mistake and went home empty handed telling my mother they did not have any Burger Buddies! We laughed about that for years!

Don’t waste the trip Earl, go for a quickie oil change

He really does need to get an eye exam. I discovered that my eyesight has been changing every year since I hit 65 and discovered I needed to get glasses so I could see to drive. Now that I am 70 I get it done every year

“Yes, but am I on time?”

Earl you really need eye appointment. For that lube for auto’s since when for appointment.

“Just a shot of oil in the eye, then, please!”

Well if he drove there he can get the car checked at least. :-)

I walked into a cellular sales center to see the three employees staring at me like birds on a wire and asked, “Is this McDonald’s?” Made their long day.

Earl is OK he is just one of us old people. We all act like that just to keep people confused.

I think it the white fog on his glasses.

He could probably use a good lube.
