A French proverb comes to mind; “When you are young, you fight because you do not understand each other. When you are old, you fight because you DO.” When we were young & wrangling over things, the Hubs once said, “Let’s compromise; you tell me what to do & I’ll do it!”…changed our whole view on whatever it was we were wrangling about & over how stupidly serious we were getting over nothing.
