He’s never impressed me more that he did in “The Hurt Locker.”
(That’s meant as a compliment; I can’t say I’ve ever been displeased to see Renner in anything, but I thought “The Hurt Locker” was excellent. Along those lines, my favorite Jennifer Lawrence performance was in “Winter’s Bone,” and Amy Adams has never done anything to surpass “Junebug.”)

I like ’em al, but really love the surreal riff on the “great clown Pagliacci” joke… and the false equivalence panel.

Renner’s going to star in “Hawkeye” next year, but it’s a streaming series on Disney+, not a movie.

364 days out of the year, “A Christmas Miracle” just seems like pointless buildup and filler, but reading the payoff makes it all worth it!

In commemoration (a bit late) of the first song sung on Christmas Eve in the trenches in 1914, bringing one night of peace without permission:
Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht. Silent night, holy night.
Alles schläft. Einsam wacht Everything sleeps. Alone is watchful
Nur das traute, hochheilige Paar Only the all-holiest couple.
Schläft der Knabe mit lockigem Haar Slumbers the Boy with the curly hair.
Christus natus est, Christus natus est! Christ is born, Christ is born!
