Does doing homework prepare kids for working from home?

Is it still considered homework now that kids are doing school remotely from home?

Except for possibly reading a book where not enough time to do in school, homework for me was a total waste of time. The only other exception I can remember was constant repeating/repetition of learning the multiplication times tables in math for homework. Those have stuck with me all of these decades, & I can still do them in my head.

For me, homework was something to be done on the bus to school. I graduated with an overall grade of plus 80 percent.

Go ahead, Abby, but I fear the teacher wasn’t the one who had a say in the matter.

The Union’s devised this method to “ease” teacher work load.

Teachers do not understand that ALL classes give homework and there is not time to finish everything
