Our struggle with our weight is one of the banes of our life. On the other hand, I believe I and Arlo agree that food can be two of the joys of life. There is as much satisfaction in it’s preparation as in it’s sharing.
I have long since operated under the assumption that the mirror lies to me – sometimes I think I look better, but the scale disagrees. Other times it is the reverse. so mostly I focus on stuff I can do – can I touch my toes? Can I jog for an hour? That sort of stuff.
