That’s what I did this past Christmas

A couple of months back, Tia Carmen had met a dashing gentleman, in the market I think. Whatever happened to him? It was nice to see Carmen attract a romantic relationship

I’ve always had a policy of asking myself “Would I enjoy getting this gift?” whenever I choose a gift for someone else.

IOW, I look for something that I believe we would Both enjoy receiving. Because, if I wouldn’t like it, how can I expect anyone Else to like it.

Like the time I gave my younger brother a “Brew Your Own Beer” kit.

That’s a good idea. I bought myself a gift for Christmas too.

It took me about 10 years to convince husband that when I say I don’t want anything – I mean that I don’t want any thing due to all of the hype in TV and movies and people’s conversation that girlfriends/wives say this and don’t mean it. If I see a bear figurine when we are out (in normal times) which catches my eye – and sells for under $5 – preferably for $1 – I will buy it when I see it as it will never be seen again, but other than items I actually need that it about all I buy – and even then – I needed new bras over 10 years ago and I still have not bought any as they are problem to find and buy.
