Those aren’t weather apps, Monty. They’re spam emails for “Male Enhancement” products.

We have had no snow here in this part of Indiana, hope it stays that way!

One day a weather app predicted it would 650 degrees in my area. (No, I didn’t move to Venus)

I see the problem – he is using his current location. Punch in “Florida” and you’ll get a better forecast!

It’s expected to be 70 degrees F here (Calif.) later this week. Good running weather.

    Comparison of temperature scales

    Fahrenheit: 0° = really cold outside • 100° = really hot outside

    Celsius: 0° = fairly cold outside • 100° = dead

    Kelvin: 0° = dead • 100° = dead

Whenever they predict winter storms in my area, it’s a Shakespearean event. But until it’s over, you never know whether it’ll be The Tempest, or Much Ado about Nothing.

I must say that I’m somewhat envious of Monty, though 10 to 14" is still pretty paltry. I cannot fathom why anybody would dislike snow – it’s beautiful, fun to play in, fun to shovel, and a blast to drive in. Biking in it can be tricky, but otherwise there are few downsides to snow.

If the weather prediction is for 8-10 inches of snow, that means you will get a light dusting that won’t even cover the grass. They have to predict a blizzard with 3 feet of snow before you actually get a whole 8 inches.

I like seeing Competitive Apps up the snow ante!

Probably won’t be much at all, Monty. Remain calm and drink tea….
