I agree, I believe that all of my “companions” (feline and canine) had many nicknames. What it was depended on whether they wer being “cute” or “evil”

If the guy is surprised that Homeslice has a lot of nicknames, he’s definitely not a cat owner! (Excuse me, been own by cats. Ha ha.)
I used to call my cat (a Maine coon) “Persian purrkitterinos”. Wife hated that I did that. Cat didn’t seem to mind…
