Bill Gates realized that software, not hardware, would be key in the computing industry. IBM, HP, etc. bet on hardware and had to navigate very difficult business times because of that decision.

Probably the closest I’ll ever get to the Justice Department wanting to talk to me is the time the FBI came to my workplace to talk to me. Relax, it was because my Tax Refund was stolen from my mailbox and the FBI was investigating it (they caught the guy)…
