The sound that comes with the smell, when there is some bread baking in the oven. Or one’s apartment when preparing a dinner of sautéed onions and mushrooms on a thick grilled steak, and fresh baked garlic-bread, with corn on the cob, and fresh baked apple pie – with cinnamon and raisins baked in it, and add some fresh churned vanilla ice-cream too.
Loved Campbell’s soup as a kid. Wish they could figure out how to not put so much salt in it so I could eat it again. And why does it cost more to not add salt?
I used to get detentions and extra homework because apparently my cursive “C” was “not up to standards”. I wrote the letter “C” for hours and hours, never seemingly achieving perfection. Although interestingly the teacher to gave me that homework ultimately was fired because it was found out she hadn’t actually gotten her degree in teaching, hadn’t gotten any formal training in anything really – she faked her credentials to get the job and no one found out for years (I have no idea how they found her out eventually, but she wasn’t a young woman when they finally clued in). But yeah, me not writing a “C” correctly was the biggest sin…

“N or M?” was written by Agatha Christie, not Sally Brown, Charlie Brown.

Looks like Sally’s taking a culinary class this year. Or maybe she’s being a food critic.
