Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Not one customer of online computer game seller Gamestation read the terms and conditions of sale on 1st April, the company has said. In an April Fools’ Day prank, it has claimed the legal right to the souls of all those customers.
The End User License Agreement (EULA) is one of the most widely published and least-read documents ever devised. The language is vague and broad enough to cover most eventualities and hold the maker blameless. Basically, if your use of the product causes the Earth to spin off its axis and go careering off into deep space, it’s not their problem.
Your limitations of use are pretty simple: don’t copy the code, don’t resell it, don’t use it for porn, don’t use it to make or spread mal-ware. The problem can be in the rights they claim for themselves: sell your name and contact info, have rights to whatever you create, and in rare instances, your first born.

I saw on the news he’s stepping down as CEO this summer but will stay on as Chairman of the Board.

Yep. That’s why you must read all of the ULA. I’m not saying that I do though, lol.
