I noticed there don’t seem to be any new “Back to B.C.” strips. Does anyone know why? I’m guessing these guys sued them for copyright infringement. I mean, the other strip even uses “Hart” as the creator’s name! And the “Wizard of Id Classics” have vanished too!
Some birds do an aeronautical equivalent of what is known in fish as a “bait ball.” The worst place to be when attacked by a predator is on on the periphery of the flock or school. So every individual flies/swims to the center.
Sometimes the swirling mass confuses the predator.
Circling the wagons is what management does when a bully is implicated by a target. The target of the bully is then pushed out of the organization. Today’s comic is a good visual metaphor for this process.

“Circle the Wagons.” “Hunter, we don’t have it out for you. We just came to protect you. We’re surrounding you with our love and care.”

That would be they have it in for you. Not have it out for you.

I guess we know who peed in the duck pool. (So I had to look up peed, as I rarely write it but often say it. Odd, that.)

Reminds me of the big sale at Target, but I hate all of their Covid questions and taking my temperature at the door.

If the hunter is like most, the safest place to be is where he’s aiming.
