I have given up trying to find rye bread not flavored with caraway. Even when bakers don’t use whole seeds, they add ground caraway because they believe that’s what the public thinks rye bread is supposed to taste like.

I guess it’s my Jewish upbringing. I like dark rye but corn rye is the real mainstay.
