Of course, Bucky had no way of knowing that Rob heard the whole thing.

Yes, nothing like working hard for your living, only to have a “legal” mugger (i.e. government) point a gun at you demanding a portion of that effort – only to turn around and say I’ll “return” a part of my thievery to you. (Oh, but wait – come tax time, that was additional income – so you owe me more in taxes.)

No, no, Rob would have to be “rich” to get that tax cut.

There is a saying that all politics are local – so Bucky, the stupid voter is right every year – just more right every 4.

Bucky trying to turn Mac into a Presidential candidate is a worse scheme than the time he tried to design a computer inspired by Mac, the “Manxintosh”.

In the second panel Bucky accidentally rediscovers the secret of the Democratic party. By the fourth panel, substitute ‘an entitlement benefit’ for ‘tax cut’, and he’s nailed it.

Rob is too poor to pay taxes. He probably gets a refund.

What if the clock is missing both hands? It’s still broke but never right.
