Sometimes people really do throw away “good stuff”. When I was “between husbands” my girls found a vacuum cleaner with a broken switch. You had to plug it in and unplug it to turn it on or off. We happily used that vac for many years. Same with a clock-radio with a broken snooze button.
It struck me that rummage/yard sales are sort of the “civilized” version of dumpster diving. But I don’t think that Grannie’s pride will let her go to one of these. And the thought probably never crosses Agnes’ mind.

Luckily Agnes at least knows better than to eat them.

Why isn’t that dumpster padlocked?
Susan00100 over 3 years ago
At least there were no dead bodies there, like on TV.

Unconsumed Big Macs in a trailer court dumpster? Way too far fetched, even for a comic!

Grandma, it’s good for strengthening her immune system. She’ll be fine. No worries.

Go ask Agnes:
“Agnes in Dumpsterland”, followed by “Agnes Through the Washing Pass”

Don’t be silly, Grandma. Big Macs never truly die.

Agnes makes me so, so sad. Yet she never lets it get her down. On to the next hair brained idea.

Treasure hunting ain’t always pretty and is sometimes smelly.

Wait a minute, Grandma! I want to know what Agnes found (note that Grandma said Agnes smells of long-dead Big Macs, not that that’s what she found).
