My mom can relate. Before they added streaming services (Netflix, Amazon Prime), my dad used to watch CSPAN and the Weather Channel for hours at a time when there was nothing else to watch.

That has to be his son he is speaking to. At least in my worldview.

Anyone bored with travel through our lovely state can keep right on a-going.

I knocked one of my bucket list in 2009, when I rode Amtrack from NYC to California. The Observation deck was just above the Club car (well placed), and I spent hours watching the USA roll by. It was December, and I remember looking at the Rocky Mountains and trying to realize just how tough those early travellers were.

Much better than lying to your face!
