    Well. “Schnäppchen” means a bargain only in the sense of something that is a good price, i.e. “a little snag” – “this amplifier was a real bargain.” To get the better side of the deal" would use “Abmachung,” but no German would ever say this in such a literal way. Beethoven would probably have said something like “Ich glaube, daß Schröder mich beim Handeln über den Tisch gezogen hat” (I think Schroeder pulled me over the table on this deal.)

    Mr. Rogers played quite well on a toy piano. I tried to find some video online, but all I could find was him playing a full-sized piano.
