Gabby has a good point.

It is safe to go back to school because precautions are being followed.

Same reason that your grandparents were told to duck and cover. Security and safety is sometimes an illusion created by those with authority in response to ignorant wants and demands of the masses.

If I was a parent today it would be a combo of online and home schooling. Many parents will have to accept, if not done so already, that their personal needs are now last on the priority list.

One of my grandkid’s whole class got a 10 (?) day quarantine because one of them tested positive…

Fortunately the virus doesn’t spread while people are eating without their masks on. Very considerate of it.

This is school, questions are not allowed.

like the commercial where the teenager is spraying everything with sanitizer:

“it’s just to be sure.”

And what life lesson did Gabby learn today?

Never, ever question anything you’re told by any authority figure unless you know how said authority figure feels first. Even if that authority figure has reversed position multiple times. Thinking for yourself is a lost art and asking questions is now grounds for cancellation.

Hate to wax serious too often here but I’m with the kid!

Keep in mind, if the school’s don’t reach their cost prediction for the year, they won’t get the same amount next year or more. Which is why they want all the kids back in school.
