My barbershop got turned into a poofy men’s styling salon. They asked if they could have my name and phone number for their computer registration database. I said “no”.
I abhor loyalty programs. I go out of my way to shop at stores that don’t use them. When I have no choice, when asked for my “rewards” credentials I tell them I don’t do that, it’s not worth the increase in robo calls and spam.
I always give 96598, the zip of the Amundsen-Scott Antarctic Station. The folks down there would probably appreciate reading the latest flyer from Lowe’s.

Never buy the box with the bar code missing. It was returned after filling out a rebate form or was returned to the vendor as defective.
