I’d suggest taking that shepherd’s crook and using it to drag Lucy off the field. She’s never been a good player to begin with. ;/

Maybe she could hook a player or two to keep the other team from the bases!

From one angle it looks like a giant question mark…the question being Why is Lucy still being allowed to play in the game?

If she could put the glove on the end of the crook and catch a high fly that way, would it be permitted?

That shepherd’s crook probably won’t be of much use in the outfield, but at shortstop it could be invaluable, if a tad illegal.

Besides, she’d be just as bad at herding sheep as she is at playing baseball. Actually, she’d be worse as herding sheep requires more work than playing baseball. At least once the baseball stops moving it stays put. The sheep would move and Lucy would let the wolves and coydogs (and possible coyotes) eat them rather than actually run around herding them
