Turns out that statin drugs and grapefruit do NOT work together. I can’t even have Squirt® according to the doc.

Love grapefruit but because of diabetes meds am unable to eat it. Been 20+ years now!

Don’t dis my favorite fruit and juice. I wish I could still have them, but now I take statins.

He’s eating it wrong. Get a grapefruit (preferably a Ruby Red), peel it, divide the sections, then peel the skin off each section before eating. Not sour, not bitter, no squirting, and it usually avoids the seeds. Yum.
