Yup – People who claim others can’t handle them because they’re “too real” are often jerks. “Too real” is their excuse for saying whatever cr@p falls out of their mouths…

I think that has more to do with how Reality and Truth are often quite disturbing to most people.

Anyone who is vocal about either one comes across as being kind of a Jerk like Debbie Downer.

We would seem to know the same people…

He thought he was “keeping it real” but he was just “keeping it”.

Good thing they quit saying “Keep it real” a few decades ago.

Heaven has walls….but the US doesn’t. Think about that.

The gates of hell (Hades, the netherworld, depends on the translation) are referred to in Scripture, when Jesus says to Peter, “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18).
